Wind Analyst - Site Assessment (renewable energy) £40-45k

YOUR PROFILE

• You have the highest level of technical knowledge and expertse in the field of Wind resource Assessment. You have proven knowledge of industry standard tools, wind flow models, and preferably at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Essential: Basic understanding of the lower boundary level physics. Extensive experience working in a self-sufficient manner at project level. Thorough wind flow modelling technical knowledge. 3+ years wind analysis experience, using WindPro, WAsP, WAsP Engineering. At least 2 years working experience on German wind assessment in accordance with EEG (60% reference yield certification) and proven knowedge of the German respective legislation (FGW Technische Richtlinien). Fluent English speaking and writing.
• Advantageous: Insight in state-of-the-art wind measurement techniques such as sodar, lidar. Experience in other than the above-listed wind models and/or CFD wind flow modelling. Broad network within the wind modeller community. Fundamental understanding of AutoCAD and/or ArcView.
